Being in the creative business, often us creatives find ourselves glamorizing creative for creative’s sake. True, there is much to love in all things artful in the process of creating a unique and unmistakable work of originality. But on the flip side when creative is done to solve a problem such as communicating a need to change behavior, this becomes way more interesting to dissect when it comes to measuring how successful it is. When you marry good research with great creative, this is the result: Nike: Extra Time TV spot.

The beauty of this ad is the production value that creates real effects in-camera with seamless transitions through the frames of an oversized tablet. No 3D modeling trickery here. Kudos to the team at McCann Worldgroup.
Now this is cool. A print ad that comes to life: Lexus 2013 ES Print Ad + iPad backlit display.

I love this form of story telling: raw, visceral, human and real. From the talented mind of Director, David Fincher.
This incredibly tender spot brings me close to tears every time I watch it.
