Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

House of Bogue is a creative practice run by James Bogue. This policy explains what data this website collects, why, and what happens to it. Plain language, not legalese.

What this site does not do

This site does not use cookies. It does not use tracking pixels. It does not fingerprint your browser. It does not sell, share, or trade your data with anyone. There are no third-party advertising scripts on this site.

Analytics

This site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-respecting analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across sites. It counts page views and referral sources in aggregate. No individual visitor can be identified.

Contact form

When you submit the contact form, this site collects your name, email address, and message. This information is sent to a privately-operated form routing service and stored in a secure database. It is used only to respond to your inquiry. Your contact information is never added to a marketing list, sold, or shared with third parties.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is sent to Mailchimp for list management. Mailchimp's privacy policy applies to that data. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Your email is used only to send occasional updates about the practice and its work.

Images and copyright

All photography and visual work on this site is the original work of James Bogue unless otherwise noted. Images contain embedded copyright metadata (EXIF, XMP). All rights reserved. Do not reproduce, distribute, or use any imagery from this site without written permission.

Third-party services

This site uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Plausible Analytics for anonymous, aggregate traffic data
  • Mailchimp for newsletter delivery (only if you subscribe)
  • Vercel for website hosting
  • Sanity for content management and image delivery

Your rights

If you want your contact form submission or newsletter subscription deleted, email james@jamesbogue.co and it will be handled promptly.

Changes

If this policy changes, it will be updated here. No email notification, no buried clause. The date at the top reflects the last revision.
